Choo, Choo Chattanooga

Our family took a trip back to Chattanooga in July. We love the city because there is so much for families and kids to do. On this trip we went back to the aquarium, because Mason loved it last time. He had a ball, but was scared of the penguins for some strange reason! They were so cute! He loved playing in the waterfalls outside the aquarium, and would have stayed there all day if we let him. We tried to do a few new things this trip, so we took a ride on the Tennessee Valley Railroad with a real steam engine pulling our train. Mason loved it, and even though it was sooo hot that day, he loved wandering around the train yard looking at the old train cars. We even saw our engine turn around on a turntable before pulling us back to the station! Another new thing we tried was the Creative Discovery Museum. It was like the McWane Center, but with more to do for little ones. He had the best time playing in the kitchen and garage areas, and yes, having a tea party in the Alice in Wonderland exhibit! But I think his favorite part of the entire trip was the indoor pool at our hotel! Sometimes the simplest things are best!
